DM Podcasts is joining the Nova Entertainment Podcast Network (NEPN) which will see Nova host and commercialise its slate of podcasts, alongside an investment in shared original podcast titles.

DM Podcasts has shows across categories in sport, comedy and entertainment, including the award-winning The Betoota Advocate Podcast and So Dramatic!. Nova Entertainment will also develop and release new co-productions titles.

“The NOVA Entertainment Podcast Network is known as a network built for brands, and this partnership with Diamantina Media showcases our continued commitment to building and supporting quality local original content which creates new contextual, and talent led environments for our clients,” says Kane Reiken, NOVA Entertainment’s digital commercial director.

“Our considered approach to partnerships identified DM Podcasts as a content producer at the forefront of pop culture in Australia, with considerable success in entertaining and engaging audiences across multiple titles.”

NEPN was launched in May with more than 350 original podcasts, as well as content from publisher partners including The Australian, Sky News, The Daily Telegraph, Fox Sports Australia, and CBC.

“This co-production deal is the first of its type in Australia and we believe this is the future for podcasting,” says Antony Stockdale, DM Podcasts founder.

“We believe this partnership is the best of both worlds, allowing us to maintain our voice as authentic, independent content creators, with the support, knowledge and resources of Australia’s fastest growing media business.”
