Dentsu has held onto the Woolworths media business managed through Woolworths@DAN.

The account, one of the biggest in Australia and said to be worth more than $150 million, has been retained by Dentsu with Carat as the lead media agency.

"This retention is testament to the strength of our working partnership and the continued mutual success this has brought,” says Carat CEO Sue Squillace.

"We are thrilled to continue working with the Woolworths Group including Supermarkets, Services, Big W, BWS, Dan Murphy’s, and Woolworths Countdown supermarkets in New Zealand."

Woolworths is becoming a media player in its own right.

Cartology, Woolworths’ retail media business, has unveiled several new advertising products, including a national digital screen network across supermarkets.
