Men's health charity Movember has appointed Andrew Little chief executive officer.
Little starts September 1, replacing interim CEO Anne-Cécile Berthier, who has run the men's health charity since Michelle Terry left in April.
The appointment follows a global search by the Movember board. Little joins from DDB Australia and New Zealand, where he spent 25 years, most recently as president and regional CEO.
He led client relationships with Volkswagen, Coles and Westpac, and built one of the region's most awarded agency groups. He will relocate from Sydney to Melbourne to take up the role.
Little said Movember's purpose, community and creativity drew him to the job.
"Movember is that idea at scale, a movement built on creativity, community and genuine care for men's health,” he said.
Getting to know the Board and the team only deepened my conviction that this is where I want to put my energy next. I feel enormously lucky to be joining, and I'm grateful to Anne-Cécile for the strength of what she's built in the interim.”
Movember global chair Damien Angus said the board was unanimous.
"Andrew combines humility with confidence, builds trust quickly, and has a rare ability to bring people together around a shared purpose," Angus said.
Angus thanked Berthier for her handling of the transition and said she would stay on as interim CEO until Little arrives, remaining closely involved through Movember's peak fundraising campaign.
"I want to thank Anne-Cécile Berthier, who stepped up as interim CEO with exactly the steadiness this organisation needed. She has led Movember through a period of transition with integrity, care and clarity of purpose," Angus said.
