David Koch’s Pinstripe Media has moved sales at microbusiness website Flying Solo in-house.

The website, with a membership of 120,000 microbusiness owners, has used MCN (now Foxtel Media) as its sales representation agency since 2012.

The website, founded by Robert Gerrish more than 10 years ago, was acquired by Koch’s Pinstripe Media in 2017 joiningpublications including Kochie’s Business Builders and Startup Daily.

“It has been great working with MCN (now Foxtel media) since we took over Flying Solo two years ago” says Pinstripe Media Chairman, David Koch.

“Their team knew the site inside and out, had solid relationships across the market, and were passionate about helping brands reach business owners. But our business is now at a stage where it makes sense for us to handle all commercial discussions and campaigns”.

Daniella Serhan, Foxtel Media Partnerships Director, says Flying Solo have been a fantastic partner to work with over the years.

"We wish them all the best and will work closely with them during this transition period," she says.

Ross Kidd, the former executive director of Storyful APAC at News Corp, has been appointed commercial director at Pinstripe.
