Cricket tops entertainment; X Factor follows

The Australia vs New Zealand second test has continued to pull viewers for Nine, with the network winning the Monday night ratings, according to overnight OzTam figures.

The match was the fifth most watched program of the night on 969,000 viewers, following a news-heavy top four ranking.

It was followed by The X Factor on Seven with 958,000 viewers and The Block on Nine with 945,000 viewers.

The Block topped all the demographics, ranking number one in the 16-39, 18-49 and 25-54 age brackets.

Nine won the night on 29.6% audience share followed by Seven on 28.7%. ABC picked up 19.3%, Ten on 18.0% and SBS on 4.4% audience share.
