CQUniversity has opened a tender for an international media agency to handle its global advertising campaigns, reinforcing its focus on key overseas markets.

The university is seeking a partner to provide offshore support for media strategy, planning, buying, and execution, aligned with its international student recruitment and branding efforts.

The tender specifically excludes services related to its domestic media strategy.

“In line with procurement protocols, CQUniversity has released a request for tender for an international media buying partner who would provide offshore support for media strategy, planning, buying, and execution,” a CQUniversity spokesperson told AdNews.

This is in line with existing international student recruitment and branding strategy. The tender does not relate to services for the university’s domestic media strategy.

“The tender has been released as the current service provider agreement is set to expire soon. It does not represent a change of direction in terms of our wider global brand and marketing operations," the spokesperson said.

Tender submissions close this Friday, June 20, and the CQUniversity anticipates an outcome by Friday, July 4.

Mandatory site visits are scheduled at CQUniversity campuses in Queensland from July 24 to 26, giving prospective agencies a chance to engage with key stakeholders.

The tender reflects CQUniversity’s ongoing commitment to expanding its international media presence.

Submissions must be lodged via the Queensland Government’s QTender portal.
