Industry figures are leading the way in getting vaccinated against COVID-19, many of them announcing the occasion of double vax via social media. AdNews asked them about their motivation and experiences.

As soon as we saw the (get vaccinated) article in the SMH through Service NSW, my husband encouraged me to register. I was, like most, troubled by the negative press surrounding AstraZeneca, and very grateful to have made the under 50 cut off! I was fully vaccinated by June 10.
It's not only protection for us and our children, but particularly for my parents who are a great support to me in minding the kids - this was a main driver. As was getting back to a normal life of course, being outdoors, travelling, socialising and being with our teams at work and the energy that this environment brings.
I had both my vaccinations at the Homebush Centre and I could not have been more impressed by the operational excellence that I experienced from booking, all the way through to the actual jabs. I was in and out of there in 30 minutes including wait time - well done NSW.
