The latest supermarket collectibles have a sustainable tag.

Coles has gone all Warner Bros and Harry Potter with its latest collectibles.

And Woolworths has a partnership with Disney with Fix-ems, reusable woven patches that can be adhered to a range of surfaces or permanently ironed on some fabrics.

The two supermarkets are top 10 advertisers in Australia

At Coles, magic is in the aisles with Harry Potter and Fantastic Beasts coming to life with the launch of Magical Builders, a collectible campaign featuring Wizarding World characters and play kits that are plastic-free and recyclable.

Almost one year after committing to no longer give away plastic toys at the check-out, Coles has worked with Warner Bros  Consumer Products to bring, in a sustainable way, favourite characters such as Harry Potter, Hermione Granger and Ron Weasley.

They are made from 100% certified cardboard that is also recyclable in household recycling bins.

Coles CMO Lisa Ronson: ““We wanted to find an interactive and sustainable way for customers to have fun and that will
appeal not only to kids, but guests of all ages."

At Woolworths, it's Disney, Pixar, Marvel and Star Wars franchises, including Minnie and Mickey Mouse, Lightning McQueen, Dory, Spider-Man, Groot, and Darth Vader.

Fix-ems are certified by Good Environmental Choice Australia (GECA) as environmentally preferable. Fix-ems will also be able to be recycled in Woolworths stores thanks to a partnership with Save Our Soles (SOS). SOS will ensure the pre-loved Fix-ems are given new life and used to create mats or flooring.

Woolworths CMO Andrew Hicks said: “We’re pleased to introduce our newest collectible that speaks to nostalgia and creativity, and encourages customers, both young and old, to express themselves with some of their favourite Disney characters."
