Coles has a replacement for Lisa Ronson

Coles has decided on a replacement for Lisa Ronson, the former CMO.

Amanda McVay will be joining Coles as chief customer officer.

She will lead the development and execution of the marketing, brand and customer communication strategies.

She joins Coles Group from supercenter chain Meijer in the US where she was most recently group vice president, head of marketing, digital, customer strategy & own brand.

Prior to joining Meijer in 2012, she had an extensive career at Target in a range of Commercial and Merchandising portfolios.

She has a Master of Business Administration from the University of Michigan’s Ross School of Business, and in 2022 completed the Leadership for Senior Executive Programme at Harvard Business School.

She is also a former elite junior tennis player, and held a tennis scholarship at the Indiana University during her undergraduate degree.

She and her husband Nick have two children, Jacob and Mackenzie, and will move to Melbourne where she start at Coles on Tuesday, June 13.
