Clemenger BBDO Melbourne has been appointed as creative agency of record for the YMCA Victoria, following a competitive pitch process earlier in the year.

The Y owns and runs a vast array of services in support of young people across settings including camps, community recreation and sporting facilities, swimming pools, childcare and early education, out of school hours care, youth services and youth justice facilities.

The largest youth charity in the world, the Y has been operating in Victoria since 1853 through a community of over 6,500 staff and volunteers working to deliver services at more than 150 locations every day.

“We’re thrilled to partner with the Clemenger BBDO Melbourne team to support and inspire our organisation as we look to set the foundation for the Y’s next 175 years of supporting our youth," YMCA Victoria executive manager, brand, communications and digital Julie Cullen says.

Clemenger BBDO Melbourne CEO Jim Gall says it is a "huge honour" to be able to support the work The Y does.

“The Y is one of the world’s most iconic brands and cultural influencers and we’re excited to partner with them to deliver creative work and experiences that plays to their belief ‘in the power of inspiring young people’," Gall says.

"It’s a dream brief and we can’t wait to get started.”
