Clemenger appoints digital director

MELBOURNE: Clemenger Melbourne has appointed Eaon Pritchard, former head of digital strategy at London-based Geronimo, as director of digital innovation.

Pritchard will across Clemenger BBDO and Clemenger Proximity. Clemenger BBDO Melbourne managing director, Peter Biggs, said Pritchard's appointment was the culmination of a global search.

“There literally was no one else with his breadth and depth of talents. This is what the agency of the future looks like and having Eaon on board is a game-changing move for Clemenger BBDO and Clemenger Proximity Melbourne.”

Pritchard will be in charge of digital and interactive leadership for Clemenger BBDO and Clemenger Proximity Melbourne, incorporating strategic direction, concept development, educational development and trend spotting.

Pritchard has developed award-winning campaigns for Daimler-Chrysler, Microsoft XBox 360, Coca-Cola, Orange, COI, Diagio, GSK and Shell.

Pritchard is one of the original members of London-based agency Weapon 7, where he created the digital TV launch of Xbox 360.

Previous roles also include creative director at Littlewoods Gaming and BSkyB in the UK, where he designed and built gaming platforms, betting programmes and interactive mobile phone services.
