Network Ten hit gameshow Family Feud has teamed up with Disney to to release a Disney-themed Family Feud board game – the first co-branded edition in the franchise.

The Family Feud Disney Edition board game is the latest brand extension for the series, which already has a gaming app, Word Hunt book publishing deal and play-along Buzzer app.

Last year, the first edition of the board game quickly sold out, causing a backlash from disgruntled fans who couldn't find it stocked at major retailers. This time Kmart has been brought in to stock the Disney edition.

“The collaboration of family entertainment icon Disney and global game show classic Family Feud is the perfect match,” says Zara Curtis, director of brand partnerships at FremantleMedia Australia, which produces the show for Ten.

“The cross-platform promotional strategy on TV, digital, social and in-store is a great example of Network Ten, Disney, FremantleMedia Australia and Kmart joining forces to surprise and delight audiences and consumers.”

On Sunday, Ten will air a one-off Disney-themed episode of Family Feud in which two families will battle for a trip to Disneyland and $10,000 spending money.
