Cat McGinn, founder of humAIn, an AI event for media and marketing, has launched bespoke advisory Liminal & Co., specialising in AI capacity building, strategy, executive narrative and experience design.

The advisory operates on a fractional model, offering organisations senior strategic engagement without a full-time commitment.

It launches with US-based generative AI creative agency NotContent as its foundation client, through which it will deliver structured AI training programs to Australian agencies and in-house brand teams.

McGinn said transformation most often failed not because organisations lacked the right technology but because the narrative and experience failed to keep pace.

"Liminal & Co. recognises that all too often what looks like a capability problem is actually a coherence problem," she said.

"The launch marks the convergence of a career spent moving between three disciplines: large-scale digital transformation, leadership narrative, and live experience," she said.

“Building AI capability in Australian marketing organisations requires contextualised training, not imported frameworks or keynote theory.”

McGinn brings more than two decades of experience across strategy, content and event production, including senior roles at Apparent and Mindshare.
