CarExpert has launched in New Zealand, marking its first international expansion through a joint venture with local online marketplace Trade Me.
CarExpert.co.nz is now live, delivering daily automotive news, independent local reviews and digital research tools designed to support informed vehicle purchase decisions.
The New Zealand launch builds on CarExpert's established position in Australia, where it operates as an independent new-car content platform.
"We identified a clear gap in the New Zealand market for a dedicated, high-quality new-car research destination," said Trade Me Motors head Brendan Hall.
“By combining Trade Me's massive audience strength with CarExpert's proven editorial expertise, we are creating a high-value destination for both consumers and the industry.”
CarExpert chief executive Damon Rielly said New Zealand represents a natural next step for the CarExpert model.
"New Zealand represents a natural next step for the CarExpert model. The market is sophisticated, competitive and evolving rapidly. Our focus is to provide structured, independent information that helps buyers make confident decisions," he said.
