Carat Sydney's new head of digital

Carat Sydney has appointed Oliver Carthy as head of digital. 

This is a new appointment with Carthy leading Carat’s digital offering and building best in class digital skills and capability, together with driving adoption of dentsu’s proprietary technology and platforms. 

“I’m thrilled to be joining Carat at such an exciting time," he says. 

"It’s clear that there is a huge focus both on delivering exceptional work for clients while building an agency culture that’s second-to-none.  

"The digital landscape is undergoing a momentous shift. I genuinely feel that the people and technology that we have at our disposal puts us in the perfect position to help our clients navigate this, while continuing to deliver best in class media solutions that drive business outcomes.”

He was previously digital and social manager with Nespresso for three and a half years and before that he spent four years with Blue 449 as associate director/client manager/senior digital planner.

He also worked with Starcom for three years, starting as digital executive and moving up to digital manager.
