Independent agency 303 Mediahub has expanded its media team with five appointments following a series of account wins, including its appointment to the WA Government common use arrangement (CUA) panel for media strategy and buying.

The Perth agency has hired former Carat executives Emily Whyte as media director, Vicki Crimmins as media manager and Ash Idle as planning director.

Kaycee Williams joins as media coordinator and Sophie Ashby, formerly of Word of Mouth, has been appointed performance coordinator.

The appointments strengthen the agency's media planning, buying and digital performance capability as it grows its government and commercial client portfolio.

303 Mediahub general manager Kylie Macey said the hires reflected the agency's growth.

"We are building one of Perth’s strongest locally based media teams, combining senior strategic leadership with specialist performance and analytics expertise,” Macey said.

“The new appointments include some of the state’s best talent, and we’re thrilled to have them on board.”

Whyte will lead the agency's government media portfolio, overseeing strategy, planning and client leadership. Crimmins will support campaign planning and delivery, while Idle will focus on audience-led media strategy.

Williams will support campaign implementation and reporting, and Ashby will manage digital performance across paid search, social and programmatic.

The appointments follow wins including the Australian Cancer Research Foundation, Cancer Council's Australia's Biggest Morning Tea brand refresh and Melanoma Australia. 303 Mediahub has also retained its international media planning and buying contract with Austrade.
