Capel Group has formed a global collective of founder-led marketing, communications and design agencies, with operations across the UK, Middle East, Asia and Australia and plans to expand into the US in 2026.
The group brings together independent agencies under a single network while retaining founder control, positioning itself as an alternative to traditional holding company models.
It has also established two central units: Capel Consultancy, which will provide specialist advisory services across areas including employer brand, sustainability, sport and retail, and Capel Academy, focused on talent development and training.
Executive chairman Jonathan Cummings said the model was designed to combine independence with global scale.
“The market needs a forward-thinking model, one that combines the passion and expertise of independent agencies with a global network's strategic reach and depth,” Cummings said.
“Our ‘Collective Advantage. Unlocked’ heralds a future where passion and individual insight combines to fuel transformation and compelling solutions for clients.”
Brisbane-based LCC Group is the first Australian agency to join the collective. The agency will retain its brand while gaining access to Capel Group’s international network.
LCC Group founder Laura Campion said the move would broaden opportunities for clients and staff.
“We are delighted to be offering the connectivity of the Capel Group to our Australian clients,” Campion said.
“The same offerings, fresh ideas and relationship management provided by our existing founder-led model but now supplemented by access to over 200 talented industry practitioners across 14 global offices.
“People development has always been key to our firm, and the Capel Academy means new and exciting opportunities for staff alongside the chance to tap into a deeper pool of inspiring individuals.”
The eight founding agencies will continue to operate under their existing brands, with further expansion planned in the Americas and Europe in 2026.
