Canva targets marketers with ad tools

Visual communication platform Canva has upgraded its marketing tools for ad creation, publishing and performance optimisation.

Unveiled at Cannes Lions, the upgrade known as Canva Grow 2.0, expands on the original Canva Grow, with direct platform integration into LinkedIn, TikTok and Meta, inclusive of publishing and performance insights.

"For too long, creative and performance have lived in separate systems," said George Howes, head of Canva Grow at Canva.

"With Canva Grow 2.0, businesses can go from generating engaging ads to publishing them across multiple platforms, seeing what's working, and automatically refreshing creative based on what's actually driving results."

Brendan Jacobson, global head of ecosystem partnerships at TikTok, said the company was excited to expand its partnership with Canva. 

"At TikTok, we're always looking for ways to help marketers turn creativity into business results," said Jacobson.

"We're excited to expand our partnership with Canva through the launch of Canva Grow 2.0, making it easier for marketers to create, optimise, and scale high-performing TikTok campaigns directly within their creative workflow." 

Canva Grow 2.0 is rolling out to users across Australia, North America and the UK from 25 June, with additional markets to follow.
