Creative agency Bureau of Everything (BoE) has been appointed agency of record for energy provider Amber Electric.
Amber operates a model that gives customers access to the wholesale energy market and makes $0 from what customers use, instead charging a monthly subscription.
"As a category disruptor, we've been searching for an agency who can challenge the status quo by getting under the hood of our business as well as making beautiful creative," said Amber chief marketing officer Emily Rubin.
“BoE is a perfect fit and we can't wait to get our message out there," said Amber chief marketing officer Emily Rubin.
Bureau of Everything strategy founder Em Taylor said the agency was drawn to Amber's business model.
"We were drawn to working with Amber because we 100% buy into what they're doing. It is the future of energy," she said.
“So much so, that whilst working through their new brand positioning and creative platform we switched over and I even installed a battery. Talk about conversion.”
Creative founder Cam Blackley said the Amber team wanted to be disruptive with its marketing.
"The Amber team want to be as disruptive with their work as they are with their product, we couldn't be happier to partner with that kind of energy," he said.
Bureau of Everything will handle brand strategy, brand platform and campaigns, with some tactical work already live in South Australia. The work will be serviced from the agency's Darlinghurst office in Sydney.
Bureau of Everything launched in May 2024, founded by Cam Blackley and Emily Taylor. Since launching, the agency has worked on campaigns including naming and launching an eBike called Flight Risk, rebranding Fone King, repositioning tech company Pharmx, and creating a summer campaign for Hawke's Brewing.
