Bonfire has promoted eight staff into leadership and senior specialist roles, effective immediately, as the Perth performance agency backs a run of client growth with appointments from within.
Madison Forward and Rob Di Giovanni move into team leader roles. Simon Bruno, Brodie McMaster, Anastasia Sipsas, Brayden Zuin, Lovisa Jägrell and Sam Marshall step up to senior specialist positions.
Bonfire's average staff tenure is 8.5 years.
General manager of strategy Alex Gavalas said promoting from within was central to growth at the agency, which has signed Cancer Council WA, Luma and Persich as clients in the past year and is a finalist for Digital Agency of the Year at the Campaign Brief WA awards.
"Great work creates momentum within a business and Madison, Simon, Rob, Brodie, Brayden, Lovisa, Anastasia and Sam have all demonstrated their commitment to delivering outstanding results for Bonfire's clients, and the broader business," he said.
Forward takes on the newly created performance media team leader role after a decade at Bonfire, most recently as senior performance media specialist. She joined the agency in 2016.
"I am thrilled to step into this new role, leading paid media and digital strategy for our business," Forward said.
Di Giovanni becomes head of marketing, overseeing client marketing activity.
He joined Bonfire in 2022 from marketing and brand consultant roles at Business Station and Modular Studio, has co-hosted marketing podcast Kill Your Logo, and is a finalist for Campaign Brief WA's Marketing Manager of the Year.
"The best marketing I've done is hard to separate from the relationships behind it. Understanding is what produces team members who are genuinely invested, clients who trust your judgement and customers who come back without being chased," Di Giovanni said.
Bruno moves from SEO and data technician to the new data and analytics lead role after nearly five years at Bonfire.
McMaster, previously senior performance media specialist, becomes performance strategy lead at Bonfire's new Melbourne office.
She joined four years ago after working as a copywriter and digital marketing coordinator.
Sipsas is promoted from digital account executive to senior account executive after five and a half years at Bonfire. She previously worked at Sport Pass and Guide Dogs WA.
Zuin moves from performance media executive to senior performance media specialist. He joined in 2023 and was a 2025 Supernova of the Year finalist.
Jägrell, previously marketing coordinator, takes on the newly created brand, activations and events specialist role. She joined in 2024 from Lease Equity and Stockland, and is event lead for the Western Australian Marketing Association.
Marshall moves from digital account executive to senior account executive, drawing on his work with Bonfire's SEO team and content writing for clients.
