Bishopp has appointed Rebecca Ryan as its Queensland business manager, strengthening its agency-facing team amid ongoing national and trans-Tasman growth.

Ryan joins with more than 20 years’ experience across media and advertising in Australia and the UK, including roles in radio, television, publishing and agency-side.

She has managed major client portfolios and is known in the Brisbane market for her strategic and collaborative approach.

Bishopp head of agency Alison Powell said Ryan’s appointment reflected confidence in the out-of-home media company’s direction.

“Attracting talent of Rebecca’s calibre reflects the strength of our business and the confidence the market has in our direction,” Powell told AdNews

“Our Queensland agency partners are already excited to work with her and as we continue to grow our airport and roadside network across Australia and New Zealand, her expertise will be a huge asset in delivering even more value to our clients.”

Ryan told AdNews the move to out-of-home was a logical progression in her career after two decades in media.

“The transition to working in out-of-home advertising felt like a natural next step in my media career,” she said.

“Bishopp and the out-of-home advertising industry as a whole is experiencing rapid growth, offering clients the ability to create highly visible, impactful campaigns that drive brand awareness, reach broad audiences and enhance any media buying strategy.”

“The company’s emphasis on honest, hands-on customer service and its dedication to building long-term partnerships based on trust and industry expertise made the decision a natural and confident one.”
