Billups, a global out-of-home (OOH) managed services agency, has acquired Billie Media, a New Zealand-based specialist OOH agency.

Commercial details haven't been released.

Billie Media, founded in Auckland in 2021, has  in-house technology, creative optimisation and measurement solutions, as well as managing and executing both static and digital OOH activations.

Co-founder of Billups, Benjamin Billups, said the Australia and New Zealand OOH market is a billion-dollar-plus advertising opportunity.

"Billie Media’s core local focus on expertise, data and tech will help enhance our promise to advertisers for a solutions-focused, centralized and accountable approach to driving engagement and value through OOH experiences," he said.

Director and co-founder of Billie Media, Ben Poole, said technology, innovation and transparency are growing engagement and opportunity in OOH.

“Our customers will get tremendous benefit from the centralised, global offering Billups brings to Australia and New Zealand," he said.

"With the support of a cross-border, market-leading partner we can give advertisers confidence, value and accountability in buying OOH media wherever their customers may be.”
