Seven and Endemol Shine Australia have resumed filming Big Brother after a coronavirus scare forced it to pause.

The reality show had briefly been on hold after a crew member had been exposed to someone who tested positive for the virus.

However, Endemol Shine has confirmed a test for the crew member came back negative, with filming to be resumed today.

“Things are moving and changing quickly and we’re responding accordingly,” a Seven spokesperson says.

“After our people, productions are one of our most important assets, so we’ve undertaken precautionary measures to minimise risk for our cast and crew.

"In many instances that means – in collaboration with our partners – suspending filming.”

Seven’s Holey Moley, SAS, Australia’s Got Talent and Home & Away all remain suspended due to the pandemic.
