Bench Media collaborated with UnLtd on a 15-kilometre coastal walk from Martin Place to Watsons Bay, raising more than $10,000 for Youth Off The Streets.
More than 40 people from Bench Media, UnLtd, Youth Off The Streets and media partners participated in the charity walk last Friday.
The event has been part of Bench Media's ongoing partnership with the youth charity for several years.
"At Bench, we believe business success should go hand-in-hand with community impact, so it has always been part of our culture," said Ori Gold, chief executive.
"For us, giving back isn't just the right thing to do, it enriches us as people, builds cultural awareness and connects us more deeply with our local communities.
“Walking together as a team is our way of showing that when we unite for a cause, we can help create brighter futures for those who need it most."
Gold noted that working with UnLtd increased participation and fundraising outcomes compared to previous years.
Kath Solly, impact account director at UnLtd, described the event as an example of the media industry using its resources for social impact.
"This event is a brilliant example of our industry using its energy and creativity for good, turning a team day out into a day of impact," Solly said.
"Every step taken by the Bench and UnLtd teams contributed to life-changing programs for young people who deserve a chance to thrive."
Youth Off The Streets provides services for vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness, trauma or disadvantage.
Judy Barraclough, chief executive of Youth Off The Streets, said the funds raised would support access to safety, education and opportunities for young people.
"We are so thankful for the generosity and support of Bench Media and UnLtd," Barraclough said.
"Their collective efforts mean more young people will have access to safety, education, and opportunities to rewrite their stories. This Coastal Charity Walk raised vital funds to help vulnerable young people experiencing homelessness, trauma, or disadvantage."
