Independent Bench Media has promoted two senior staff and hired three new team members following major client wins including Sydney Airport and Australian Catholic University.

The full service media agency has promoted Nate Vella to head of strategy from brand strategy lead, and Erin Fraser to head of client services from group head media strategy.

"We're growing because we're staying true to what clients need right now -- an agency partner who understands the big picture, moves quickly, and delivers outcomes they can see," said Bench Media CEO Ori Gold.

Vella will lead strategic planning across the agency while shaping Bench's broader go-to-market direction. Fraser will oversee all client partnerships and delivery across the agency's growing client portfolio.

The new hires span client services and performance teams, bringing experience from agency, brand and adtech roles. The appointments strengthen Bench's capability to deliver  solutions across digital, search, programmatic, traditional and retail channels.

Gold said the momentum reflects the strength of the agency's independent model and its focus on flexibility, transparency and results.

The agency expects more announcements in the second half of the year, including new product offerings and deeper integration of creative and media strategy.

All promotions and new hires are effective immediately.
