Beauty and the Geek wraps up as Tokyo Olympics continues to dominate

Nine’s Beauty and The Geek wrapped up last night with under 600,00 metro viewers tuning in for the final episode, as the Tokyo Olympics continued to dominate.

The reality TV show, which airs from 7.30-9pm, attracted 588,000 metro viewers for the Grand Final episode last night, with the Winner Announced segment reaching 665,000 metro viewers for total people, according to OzTam figures.

Meanwhile, the evening session for the Tokyo Olympic Games, which runs from 7-8.30pm, attracted 1.143 million metro viewers, making it the most watched non-news program for the night.

The night session for the games also surpassed a million viewers, with 1.016 million metro viewers tuning in.

Also on last night at 7.30pm, Ten’s Australian Survivor attracted 595,000 metro viewers.

Seven News was the most watched program for the night with 1.403 million viewers.

For people aged 18-49, the evening session for the Tokyo Olympics dominated with 417,000 metro viewers, followed by the night session with 392,000 metro viewers. Seven News was third with 346,000 metro viewers.

For people aged 25-54, the Olympics evening session was on top again with 470,000 metro viewers, followed by the night session with 430,000 metro viewers, and Seven News with 430,000 metro viewers.
