The 2025 Repco Bathurst 1000 has become the most watched Supercars race for sports streaming platform Kayo Sports, up 19% from last year.
Total audiences across Kayo Sports, Foxtel and Foxtel Now was up 15% compared to last year.
Fox Sports has provided an early estimate of 1.2 million views across broadcast and streaming platforms with numbers expected to grow.
The telecast averaged an audience of 459,000 people across the Foxtel platforms.
“Supercars have re-imagined their schedule in 2025, and our season-long audiences have been fantastic, but Bathurst was on another level,” said Adam Howarth, group director of content acquisitions and sports partnerships at Foxtel.
“The drama and storylines really stopped the nation, and our audiences reflected this. With three rounds of the Championship remaining, there is still plenty of action to go. Season 2025 has been a smash, and there’s even more to come next year when Toyota joins the field. Supercars is on fire.”
Garth Tander and Matt Payne claimed victory for Ford at Mount Panorama.
Kayo offered subscribers live and ad-break free viewing contributing to the rating success, with final numbers still to be released.
The success follows Kayo Sports recent extension of a multi-year broadcast agreement with the Supercars.
