Bastion has opened a Brisbane headquarters as part of its broader national expansion, with the agency aiming to strengthen its position in Queensland ahead of the 2032 Olympic Games.
The Bowen Hills office places the independent agency closer to Brisbane’s growing business and sporting precinct, with a larger team and expanded capabilities on the ground.
It follows a push to deepen ties with local government, sport and commercial partners across the state.
The move, described as a key step in Bastion’s growth strategy, comes as southeast Queensland’s profile continues to rise both domestically and globally.
“Our masterplan has always been to bring the best experts under one roof to solve our clients’ most critical problems,” said Cheuk Chiang, CEO of Bastion ANZ.
“By strengthening our presence in Queensland, we’re positioning ourselves in one of Australia’s biggest growth markets at a defining time for business and sport.
“With the Olympics placing the South East firmly on the world stage and a booming local economy, the move creates growth opportunities for brands.
“Establishing a permanent Brisbane hub and expanding our leadership and capabilities within the State ensures we can partner even more closely with businesses, governments and sporting organisations to deliver campaigns that resonate deeply with local communities and global audiences alike.”
