Bad Bunny to headline Super Bowl half time

Puerto Rican superstar Bad Bunny, with his Latin trap and reggaeton music, will  headline next year’s Super Bowl halftime show.

The Super Bowl, to be held February 8, 2026, in Santa Clara, California, is considered THE stage for brands and their agencies to show off their creative flair.

Fox, this year’s broadcaster, reportedly sold 30-second commercial spots for more than $US7 million.

The 2025 Super Bowl averaged a record 127.7 million  viewers across television and streaming platforms.

The 60th edition of the the American football game will be played on NBC. 

"What I'm feeling goes beyond myself," the 31-year-old artist, Bad Bunny, said.

"It's for those who came before me and ran countless yards so I could come in and score a touchdown… this is for my people, my culture, and our history. Ve y dile a tu abuela, que seremos el HALFTIME SHOW DEL SUPER BOWL."

Jon Barker, SVP of global event production for the NFL, said Bad Bunny represents the global energy and cultural vibrancy that define today's music scene.

"As one of the most influential and streamed artists in the world, his unique ability to bridge genres, languages, and audiences makes him an exciting and natural choice to take the Super Bowl halftime stage." he said.

"We know his dynamic performances, creative vision, and deep connection with fans will deliver the kind of unforgettable experience we've come to expect from this iconic cultural moment."
