Australia’s cross-platform audience insights metric emma (Enhanced Media Metrics Australia) has joined forces with the Australian Magazine Awards to launch new category, The Impact Award.

The Impact Award will recognise any individual who has made a significant impact in their workplace, across any area of their business. This could include an editorial initiative, a commercial outcome, a contribution to culture or process improvement.

This year’s Impact Award winner will receive a $5,000 prize to contribute to their personal development, such as a conference, further study or career development opportunities.

“We are proud to continue emma’s sponsorship the Australian Magazine Awards.. We are particularly delighted to introduce The Impact Award recognising individuals making a positive difference to their organisations’ business and culture. The magazine publishing industry has a strong culture of innovation and some very talented individuals, so we expect competition to be fierce,” says The Readership Works General Manager, Mal Dale.

To enter The Impact Award, individuals should submit 500 words that outline what they have achieved, what drove the thinking behind it and the impact it has had on their business between 1 July 2018 and 30 June 2019. Finalists will be required to participate in an interview process with the judging panel.

Entries for the awards close on 4th October 2019 and the winners will be announced at an evening event on 20th November 2019 in Sydney. More information is available at: https://www.adnews.com.au/australian-magazine-awards
