Atomic 212° in Uluru

Atomic 212° hosted more than 120 staff, clients and partners in a national conference at Uluru.

The event, titled All Around: Connect With The Unexpected, featured speakers including journalist and diversity advocate Antoinette Lattouf on “the currency of real leadership”, paralympian Jessica Gallagher on accessibility in media and Tourism NT CMO Monika Tonkin, who spoke on “how the Northern Territory has been put on Australians’ travel map”.

Other contributors included Programmed’s APAC marketing lead Amelia Collins and Flinders University CMO Bev Bury, discussing leadership and authenticity, Publicis ANZ chief data officer Maurice Riley and artist Vincent Fantauzzo on creativity. DJ and speaker Rona Glynn-McDonald and musician Paul Ah Chee performed.

Atomic 212° executives were also among the presenters, including chairman Barry O’Brien, CEO Rory Heffernan, chief digital officer James Dixon, chief strategy officer Asier Carazo, GMs Sylvia Pickering (Melbourne) and Ashleigh Carter (Sydney), data and analytics GM Tom Sheppard and senior planning executive Angus McLeod.

As part of the event, street artist and creative director JESWRI collaborated with students from the National Indigenous Training Academy (NITA) on a large-scale mural within their residential area. 

NITA is operated by Voyages Indigenous Tourism Australia, which runs Ayers Rock Resort.
