Are Media has launched a new campaign featuring high-profile ambassadors encouraging Australians to indulge in magazines over the summer.

The inaugural #MagazineLover campaign features Kerri Anne Kennerley, Ada Nicodemou, Marion Grasby, Poh Ling Yeow and Martha Kalifatidis who share how magazines provide them with inspiration, joy and relaxation.

“This is a wonderful opportunity to engage new audiences and remind existing readers of the indulgent escape that magazines offer,” says Louise Cankett, marketing director at Are Media.

“As most of us gear up for some much needed time off after another challenging year, there is no better time to engage and relax with the quality storytelling and inspiration which our broad portfolio of brands provide.”

The campaign, which is running throughout the summer, was created by Are Media and delivered by the projects*.

It highlights eight leading Are Media brands such as The Australian Women’s Weekly, belle, House & Garden and marie claire, as well as raising awareness of the entire magazine category.

“Having spent most of my career in the magazine industry I am a true #MagazineLover, so this is a perfect campaign for the projects*,” says Carrie Barker, director of the projects*.

“Magazines are such a personal medium, so using influencers as the creatives sharing what is authentic to them will be very natural and inspirational.”
