Full service independent agency Apparent has promoted long serving account management executive Brook Miller to the newly created role of client services director and Candice Lombard has been promoted to integration director.

Miller has risen through the ranks of Apparent over the past nine years and is instrumental in managing the development of its relationships with global clients including US-based Cisco, VMware and LinkedIn.

Starting as an account manager when there were just 15 employees, she now leads client services at the agency which has a team of more than 120 and in excess of 30 clients.

Before joining she worked at BMF and Euro RSCG.

"Brook is an exceptional client leader," Apparent managing director Suzy Smiley says.

"She has consistently delivered for our clients and has played an invaluable consulting role in the development of the business particularly in building the C-Suite relationships with our international clients. This promotion, to the newly created role of client services director, is recognition of this and will position us well for our next growth phase.”

The Sydney headquartered agency has seen exponential organic and new business growth in recent years.

In addition to the global clients, it currently works with Cricket Australia, Campari Group, Zip Co, the Australian Government, Nikon, Chartered Accountants and others.

“Having been with Apparent for almost ten years, I’m delighted to have been appointed CSD and lead the account management team. I’m looking forward to contributing to the continued evolution of the agency,” Miller says.

The agency has also promoted Candice Lombard to the role of integration director, a newly created role to lead operations across account and creative services teams.

She joined Apparent in 2019 as a business director and has also worked at R/GA, Cummins & Partners and Sibling.

“We’re so fortunate to have Candice as part of our team," Miller says.

"She brings a wealth of experience and EQ to the role and I’m incredibly excited to partner with her to deliver excellence across our service and operations.”
