The US union calling for Droga5 to review its employment practices has set live a series of digital ads in trade press to encourage more signatories to its petition.

The ad (pictured) on Hollywood Reporter, Variety, Ad Week and Advertising Age websites is to raise awareness of what the union, SAG-AFTRA, calls “exploitation by Droga5 and other agencies.”

Members of SAG-AFTRA was escorted away from Droga5's NY offices two days ago, when they attempted to drop off a petition signed by 8000 people calling for changes to the way it hires, looks after and pays performers.

"(We) stood up to agencies that exploit performers by continuing the destructive practice of unfair pay,” US national executive director David White says.
