Australian creatives have come up with a way to help those made redundant as the pandemic takes hold of the economy.

The initiative allows those who have been made redundant to fill in their employment gap on LinkedIn with a new business called Covid-19 Partners.

This is a new multinational company made up of talented people from across the globe and from multiple professions.

It aims to combat the sense of shame attached to redundancy and help people obtain jobs in the future by removing the unexplained gap on their career resume.

The initiative will also provide a sense of community; reminding people, that though the economy has declined, their abilities and humanity have not.

The founders envision it as a potential resource for employers and hope that it evolves into a community with the potential to help each other find employment.

More information can be found on Covid-19 Partners LinkedIn page.
