Digital analytics platform Amplitude has launched AI Visibility to give insight into how brands shows up in AI search results.

Brand discovery is being fundamentally reshaped as consumers shift from traditional search engines to AI assistants such as Google AI Overview and ChatGPT.

Amplitude says AI tools often recommend only a handful of products in response to a user's query. If a brand isn't listed, it's invisible, and high-intent customers may go straight to competitors.

Amplitude's AI Visibility shows where a brand appears across major AI platforms, how often competitors are recommended instead and gives guidance to improve search presence.

"AI search is the new front page of the internet, and most brands don't even know if they're showing up," said Tifenn Dano Kwan, chief marketing officer at Amplitude.

"AI Visibility gives companies a radar for this new reality. We not only make them aware, we also help them to take action to improve right away."

Amplitude's AI Visibility includes a visibility score, which quantifies how often a brand appears in AI responses.
