Marketing agency Alpha Digital has appointed Tim Harper-Russell head of growth and Nathan Fraser head of product.
Fraser joins following nine years at OMD, where he left as managing partner at the end of 2025.
A career spanning two decades has seen him work across a diverse range of clients and categories including Super Retail Group, Amart, Village Roadshow and the Australian Labor Party.
Harper-Russell, with more than 20 years in media, including 15 within Dentsu and WPP agencies, brings experience delivering work and driving growth for clients across tourism and travel, retail, QSR and the not-for-profit sector including AirAsia, Tourism Whitsundays, Super Retail Group, Amart Furniture, Domino's and Bond University.
Harper-Russell will lead business development at Alpha Digital, a function previously managed by chief executive Matt Cooper.
Alpha Digital was acquired by ASX-listed XPON Technologies nearly a year ag.
"After spending most of my career in Hold Co agencies, I knew I didn't want to throw myself into something new, without being sure it aligns with where I want to go next. Alpha's team, its philosophy and potential, is setting a new benchmark for brand services in Australia, and I'm excited to help expand it and contribute to the next evolution of the agency," Fraser said.
Harper-Russell said Alpha Digital is one of the longest running independent agencies in the space.
"Alpha Digital is one of the longest running indie agencies in the space, and when Matt explained his vision for what comes next, I had to be a part of it. Alpha is building something unique in media, with a curiosity I've not seen displayed by a whole team before, backed by a listed business revolutionising modern marketing, what's not to love?" he said.
Alpha Digital chief executive Matt Cooper said both leaders join at an exciting time as the agency continues to modernise marketing and customer experience.
"Alpha is transforming, shaping a new kind of agency, one that pioneers future-proofing tech for brands," Cooper said.
"We've seen how XPON's emerging technologies are already empowering both marketing performance and client growth, and their impact on bottom lines. The partnership positions Alpha at the forefront of XPON's ambition to build a modern, connected marketing group, a mini Hold Co with Alpha remaining agile at the centre."
Alpha celebrates its 15th anniversary on May 4 this year.
