Hometime has appointed Alison Walsh chief marketing officer, reporting directly to co-founder and CEO Billy Crock.

Walsh joins from Chatime Australia, where she was CMO, and before that spent 17 years at Guzman y Gomez (GYG), helping scale the brand from a three-store start-up into a multi-billion-dollar global business across Australia, Singapore, Japan and the United States.

Hometime looks after nearly 3,000 properties around Australia on behalf of property owners, using local teams and technology to handle guest bookings, dynamic pricing, cleaning and maintenance.

"This feels like the early days at GYG again, a brand with real momentum that needs the story told properly," Walsh said.
