The Australian Influencer Marketing Council (AiMCO) has partnered with Omnicom Media Group Australia (OMG) to fund memberships for eligible creators through OMG’s influencer marketing arm, Creo.
Under the agreement, OMG will sponsor annual AiMCO memberships for its network of creators, giving them access to the council’s industry education, insights, events and best-practice resources.
OMG works with hundreds of creators each month through Creo, its end-to-end influencer marketing platform, which connects brands with verified creators across multiple categories.
Thomas Hutley, managing director of OMG Content, said the partnership builds on OMG’s role as a founding AiMCO member.
“This initiative reinforces our shared commitment to supporting brands and creators as the creator economy evolves,” he said.
“Since launching Creo earlier this year, we’ve seen strong client adoption, demonstrating influencer marketing is a powerful vehicle for media effectiveness.
“Our guaranteed outcomes model proves the exceptional results that can be unlocked when the right creator is paired with the right message and amplified to a receptive audience.”
AiMCO managing director Patrick Whitnall said the partnership represented “a landmark agreement” for AiMCO and the overarching Australian influencer marketing sector.
“Influencers and content creators are the lifeblood of our industry,” Whitnall said.
“This partnership is designed to continue AiMCO’s mission to drive responsible, compliant influencer marketing, by investing in best practice education for creators.”
Creators joining under the partnership will also receive entry to AiMCO’s 2026 Creator Summit in Sydney in February.
The agreement takes effect immediately.
