MOOD Tea has launched Step Up Your MOOD stepathon challenge powered by Impact and the industry's social purpose organisation UnLtd.

The four-week challenge, with one eye on social distancing rules, begins this Sunday, August 1, and encourages individuals to get active to boost mental wellbeing. Steps are logged via Count. It to connect wearable tracking devices and apps.

Each week the top male and female steppers and top company will win a bundle of MOOD Tea.

The individuals topping the leaderboard at the end of the competition will take home a $500 gift card and the winning company a MOOD Tea bundle for their office, kindly donated by partnership automation platform Impact.

Contestants will also be provided with helpful tips, tools and tricks throughout the challenge on the benefits of walking on your mental health, podcast and playlist suggestions and how to be a better active listener.

Chris Freel, CEO of MOOD and UnLtd: “With lockdowns and social restrictions happening across many states, now is the perfect time to connect, encourage and support each other in a COVID-safe way. This challenge ticks all the boxes; it gets you moving, promotes a healthier mindset and gives your teams something positive to talk about.

“We understand the complexity of the current situation, so it can’t be emphasised enough the importance of being safe and acting responsible, and ask you to please follow your local government rules when taking part in the challenge. With that being said, I look forward to seeing who tops the leader boards each week!”

Adam Furness, managing director APAC at Impact: “Our mission is to create impact personally, professionally and within our communities. One of the best ways to do this is through partnerships with like-minded businesses.

“This is why we’re so proud to be partnering with MOOD and UnLtd on this important initiative to support our industry during this really challenging time. Taking part in the step challenge together will not only unite the industry and tap into our competitive sides, but it will remind us of the importance of doing something each day for our mental health.”

Join colleagues from the industy including GroupM, Seven West Media, Usual Suspects Creative, Val Morgan, and Verizon Media, by clicking here to join the challenge.
