Advertising Council Australia has appointed its first Futures Board, bringing together 11 emerging leaders to provide strategic input.
The group draws members from data, social, creative and digital transformation roles across agencies nationwide.
Candidates were selected through a blind review process assessing strategic thinking and problem-solving, followed by interviews.
Advertising Council Australia chair Michael Rebelo said the board is designed to keep the organisation aligned with industry change.
“The industry is changing fast. To stay relevant, we need the people closest to the change to help shape our thinking,” he said.
“The Futures Board brings emerging leaders into our strategy so ACA and its member agencies stay competitive, relevant and continue to deliver real business results.”
Advertising Council Australia CEO Tony Hale said the focus will be on practical outcomes.
“Bringing together emerging leaders from across disciplines and markets allows us to test ideas, challenge assumptions and translate industry change into practical priorities for ACA and its members,” he said.
The 2026 Advertising Council Australia Futures Board includes Abigail Dawson, group head of marketing and communications at Enero; Anastasia Simone, senior art director at Droga5; Brittany Auchterlonie, senior account director at Apparent; and David Clarke, director of digital at Trilogy.
It also includes Sophia Taylor, senior account manager at VML; Marc Williamson, group director of data at R/GA; Rania Aissaoui, account director at Think HQ; and Renata Yannoulis, strategy director at TBWA\Australia.
The board is rounded out by Tash Edelstein, group client director for social and content at Bastion; Vince Usher, group strategy director at Leo Burnett; and William Campion, copywriter at Saatchi & Saatchi.
The Futures Board will hold its first strategy session in early March with the Advertising Council Australia Board.
