Independent media agency Advertising Advantage (ADAD) has been appointed by second-hand fashion marketplace Vinted to run its Australian media strategy ahead of the company's local launch.
ADAD will handle media strategy, planning and buying as Vinted builds its presence in Australia.
The Lithuania-founded marketplace operates in more than 25 markets, connecting members who buy and sell second-hand fashion and other goods.
Chief commercial officer at ADAD Matt Kitchener said the appointment reflected growing demand for circular commerce.
"As Australian consumers increasingly embrace resale, there's a real opportunity to establish Vinted as the destination for second-hand fashion," Kitchener said.
Danielius, senior offline specialist at Vinted, said the company wanted a partner with local market knowledge for its Australian entry.
"We were looking for a media partner that understands the Australian landscape and can help us build awareness efficiently while supporting sustainable long-term growth," Danielius said.
The appointment adds to ADAD's work supporting international brands entering Australia.
