Adshel has appointed a new chief revenue officer to join its executive team.

David Roddick, who is joining the outdoor company from his role as international sales director at Adshel shareholder Clear Channel International, will be charged with driving revenue across Adshel's products – including its new digital, mobile and interactive offerings.

Prior to Clear Channel, Roddick spent 12 years with News International brands The Sun, Today and News of the World.

He will report directly to Adshel CEO Rob Atkinson.

Roddick said: “New technology is changing out-of-home media dramatically, and I’m looking forward to joining Adshel to help steer the fortunes of a dynamic organisation at very forefront of that change.”

Atkinson added: “David's strategic approach and depth of customer focus means we will be getting a world class leader to continue our years of record sales growth.”

Roddick will join Adshel on September 15.
