AdSchool returns this year with a refreshed range of courses led by a line-up of ad industry leaders providing a combination of physical and online lectures, workshops and mentoring sessions.

Among the advertising luminaries who will teach and mentor students in 2021:

  • Christina Aventi - Chief Strategy Officer and Jennifer Rhodes - Head of Effectiveness & Data Strategy BMF Australia;
  • Olly Taylor - Chief Strategy Officer, Host/Havas Australia;
  • Pieter-Paul von Weiler - Chief Strategy Officer, AJF GrowthOps Melbourne;
  • Brad Bennett - Executive Strategy & Digital Director, Performics Mercerbell;
  • Paul Coles - General Manager, BMF Australia;
  • Mark Green - Lead Accenture Interactive ANZ, Group CEO & Co-Founder of The Monkeys and Advertising Council Australia Chair.

Following the challenges of 2020 when AdSchool tuition was moved online for the first time in its more than 26-year history, Advertising Council Australia has conducted a comprehensive review of AdSchool’s structure, course content and delivery.

The result is a new and improved AdSchool for 2021 delivered both online and face-to-face, including a combination of video lectures from industry leaders, mentoring and in-person workshops.

AdSchool 2021 courses: Advanced Account Management; Advanced Strategic Planning; Copywriting; Core Strategic Planning; Experience Strategy & Design; Jump Start WA Graduate Program.

Two bespoke courses are also available on request: Art of Persuasion and Art of Visual Persuasion.

The ACA Foundation Certificate, an entry-level online course which made its debut in 2020, will return in 2021.

The Certificate course covers eight essential disciplines and is provided by experts within the industry, with video lectures enabling participants to study at their own pace.

Registrations for all AdSchool 2021 courses are now open.
