Adgile launches TV effectiveness platform Catalyst

By AdNews | 18 February 2021

Adgile today launched Catalyst - its Total TV Effectiveness platform.

Catalyst is an independent, cloud-based platform that can be accessed by brands, agencies and broadcasters as a SaaS (Software as a Service), harnessing the rich, structured first party advertising content data that Adgile creates through its patented visual recognition technology.

Catalyst has been designed to enable users to understand, optimise and extend their TV planning and buying in real time, integrating Adgile’s market-leading Analytics, Attribution and Activation product suite into a single intelligent platform experience that offers truly actionable effectiveness opportunities.

Claire Butterworth, interim general manager of investment at GroupM – one of Adgile’s key customer partners:  “As an agency, we’re constantly looking to innovate, and to enable our clients to realise better, more effective advertising.

"Adgile’s Catalyst platform brings a more granular understanding of performance and ability to optimise – all in real time. It’s a game changer for how TV planning and buying can now be shaped and delivered.”

Paul Evans, Global CEO at Adgile, says Catalyst is truly industry-defining for TV.

"Adgile’s core strength has always been the uniqueness of the real time TV data we create, and high resolution brand TV content that we catalogue, but Catalyst now brings new advanced utility to benefit the creation, planning, buying and measurement of all TV advertising," he says.

“No other business or platform can offer brands the combination of real time TV insights and intelligence, the ability to use impression-level exposure and consumer behaviour measurement that closes the loop on TV advertising outcomes, and the potential to amplify the value of TV advertising through in-the-moment programmatic VOD, Display, Search & Social activity. These are transformative capabilities to fuel TV effectiveness – now available at the touch of a button.”
