Starcom Australia has appointed Adam Steward national head of digital and solutions.
He joins Starcom with more than 15 years’ experience across ecommerce, performance, search and digital, most recently in head of performance and ecommerce roles at media agencies, including Hatched.
Steward will report to CEO Matt Houltham and will oversee digital, technology and analytics across the media agency.
His remit includes digital innovation, data strategy and product development.
“Adam has a proven track record in driving digital transformation for clients and building high performing digital teams,” Houltham said.
“His expertise and forward-thinking mindset will be invaluable as we continue to enhance our digital capabilities, particularly in areas such as search, commerce, identity and consulting.
“His leadership will play a crucial role in deepening client engagement and ensuring Starcom Australia remains at the forefront of innovation.”
Steward said Starcom Australia’s ‘Focus for Growth’ positioning strongly resonated with him.
“It sets a clear direction in a market demanding sharper focus and commercial impact,” he said.
“It’s an exciting time to join the agency, and I’m looking forward to further building on their digital, data and solutions capabilities to drive results for clients.
Steward will be based in Sydney and work with chief client and growth officer Scott McCaffrey and chief operating officer Louise Romeo.
