Adam Ferrier, chief thinker at Thinkerbell, is calling on the ad industry to support Father Bob Maguire in auctioning his portrait by Ahn Do

He is having his portrait painted tonight on the ABC’s Ahn’s Brush with Fame.

At the same time, Father Bob will be hosting a live auction as his portrait is being painted on the show with all proceeds of the auction going to The Father Bob Foundation

“Father Bob is an old mate and we are helping him out,” says Ferrier.

“We would love you to bid for the painting of Father Bob.”

Father Bob said: “Why anyone would want a picture of my mug on their wall beggars belief. But Ahn is pretty handy with a paint brush so I guess there will be a few people who'll pay something for it.

You can bid for the painting on Twitter: State your bid price and use the hashtags #brushwithfame and #Fatherbobauction.

“Bid lots of money – remember it’s for a good cause, and Ahn was an Archibald finalist before creating the wonderfully successful Ahn’s Brush with Fame,” says Ferrier.

The auction closes 8.30pm Wednesday.

The Father Bob Foundation provides food relief, social inclusion, educational support and a range of associated services so that no one is left behind.
