The finalists for the Australian Commercial Radio Awards (ACRAs) have been revealed with top names such as Kyle and Jackie O and Jonesy and Amanda up for awards.

A total of 260 metropolitan and regional stations entered the awards organised by the radio industry body Commercial Radio Australia (CRA), which covers 29 categories.

“Live radio is one of the most demanding of mediums, so congratulations to all the talented finalists across metropolitan and regional Australia on their outstanding work,” Joan Warner, CRA CEO, says.

“The radio awards keep getting bigger and better every year. We look forward to hosting the 31st annual event in Brisbane.”

The winners will be revealed on 19 October in Brisbane, with winners announced in each category across four areas: metropolitan, provincial, country and syndication/production company.

The ACRAs are peer judged by industry members. See here for the full list of finalists.
