Clear, outcomes-led impact partner.

Uniting Vic.Tas is repositioning the organisation from a broadly perceived charity-based community services provider to a clear, outcomes-led impact partner in a campaign via Mustard Creative Agency.

Despite being one of the largest community service providers in Victoria and Tasmania, Uniting has historically faced low awareness, and limited clarity about what it does as a broad-spectrum community services provider.

“It’s a privilege to partner with an organisation like Uniting Vic.Tas, where the work is deeply human and the impact is real and measurable,” said Uniting Vic.Tas brand strategy director, Axel Dench.

“Our role was to help articulate that impact in a way that builds understanding and trust at scale - not by simplifying it, but by making it visible.

“This is what meaningful brand work looks like when purpose and outcomes are genuinely aligned.”

At the core of the transformation is a new brand platform that reframes Uniting as “the impact partner”, grounded in the idea of standing alongside people to enable measurable progress through times of hardship.

This comes to life in the creative campaign platform “That’s Uniting” which shifts the focus from abstract purpose to tangible, real-world outcomes that delivers “Support that Changes Lives.”

“This campaign is anything but abstract – it’s an idea you see, feel and recognise in real moments of impact,” said Mustard creative director Ryan Nadzielski.

“We’re incredibly proud to help tell the story of what Uniting does, who they are, and what uniting as a community can look like. This is honesty that’s unmistakably Uniting.”

For Uniting, the work represents a critical shift toward long-term brand building, establishing a clearer and more differentiated position in a crowded and often misunderstood sector.

The campaign will launch across OOH, street furniture, TV, radio and digital/social.

“This work gives us the clarity we’ve been missing, a way to clearly communicate who we are, what we do and the difference we make,” said Uniting Vic.Tas brand strategy manager, Lindsey Thomson.

“By focusing on real outcomes and the progress people achieve with the right support, we’re building stronger understanding and connection with the community, and reinforcing our role as a trusted partner in people’s lives.”
