Tourism and Events NT are inviting Australians and New Zealanders to discover why the Northern Territory (NT) is ‘None of a Kind’ in a campaign via KWP+Partners.
The campaign brings the None of a Kind narrative to life through some of the Territory’s experiences, from witnessing sunrise at Uluru and hiking the Larapinta trail in the Red Centre, to exploring the waterways and waterfalls of the Top End, experiencing iconic events and connecting with the world’s oldest living cultures.
The TV commercial is soundtracked by ‘Southerly’ from Arnhem Land band Kind Stingray.
The campaign is also supported through partnerships with Tourism Top End and Tourism Central Australia, along with trade activity through partners including Jetstar, Virgin Australia, Qantas, Webjet, Holidays of Australia, TripAdvisor and more.
“It’s an invitation to travellers seeking something genuinely different, and a reminder that the kind of destination people would normally travel across the world to experience is much closer than they think,” said Tourism and Events NT chief marketing officer, Staci Mellman.
“Whether it’s canoeing through Nitmiluk Gorge, hiking the Kings Canyon Rim Walk, or experiencing the Territory’s range of events, including MXGP in Darwin, a trip to the NT stays with people because it is such a unique and wonderful place.
“With travellers prioritising meaningful, high impact holidays, the ‘None of a Kind’ campaign shows why the Northern Territory is worth the investment, in an increasingly competitive travel market, by leaning into what makes the Territory incomparable."
